My name is Lily Chan. I’m an unconditional dog lover and a VSA-Certified Dog Trainer. While I have loved dogs ever since I can remember, it wasn’t until the summer of 2011 that my passion for dog training really grew…

How my dog training journey began…

My husband and I adopted our first dog together, a 2-year old named Patches. It didn’t take long for us to find out that he feared a lot of objects, certain dogs, and certain people; and he would respond with inappropriate behaviors like barking, lunging, and snapping. I was frightened in those situations because I didn’t know what to do. But one thing I did know was that I did not want to give up on him. So I plunged myself into the world of dog training and learned all about positive training and behavior modification. From that experience, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life’s work to helping others. I became a Graduate with Distinction from the Victoria Stilwell Academy, pivoted my career, and founded Dogfullife. Ultimately, Patches is the reason I do what I do today and I am so grateful to him.

What is my mission in life?

I believe that when a person and dog forms a bond and nurtures that relationship, it can create insane amounts of joy (like heart-bursting amounts) in both the person’s and the dog’s lives. As with anything worth having in life, the relationship with you and your dog takes work and it is my mission in life to help you build the fullest life possible for all of you.
